About Us
Hi all! Thanks for being here!
My name is Kirsten, I am the owner and lead wedding planner here at Simply Elegant Affairs! I am a wife and a mama to the two most amazing little girls! I stay home full time during the week with my littles and get the privilege of serving and working with so many amazing couples on the weekends!
Some fun facts about me, I love all sorts of music but a different me comes out with some good 2015 rap. Iced Chai lattes are my go-to for a good pick me up, I am weak for some tacos and loaded cheese fries. We have a few too many pets and all are named after harry potter, lord of the rings or game of thrones characters.
I have a passion for people and love serving others. Being in the wedding industry I love creating and designing beautiful weddings but the relationships I develop and couples I get to serve are what truly make the job worth it!
Our Approach
I pride myself on having a very friendship client approach. I truly care about my couples and while yes, it is business, it does not just have to be. I enjoy getting to really know my couples first and foremost and I feel that gives me the knowledge I need to know in order to best assist you in your wedding planning process!
Working with me through your wedding planning process you can feel confident knowing that you are getting someone on your side who will go to bat for you, will be polite but honest when your wedding expectation or vision may not be realistic, will be a mediator for you when there are too many opinions that you do not want to hear and be someone who you can rely on and trust that has you and your partner's best interest at heart!
On the wedding day, myself, along with my wonderful day of assistants will be there to assist you and your partner in whatever ways we can! We are quick on our feet when a problem arises, are team players and will jump in wherever and whenever we are needed!
